Our Team

ReligiousLiberty.TV is produced by a team of legal professionals, scholars, and advocates committed to informing the public about religious freedom across the full spectrum of belief and non-belief.

Editorial Leadership

Michael D. Peabody, Esq.

Editor & President, Founders’ First Freedom®

Michael D. Peabody is an attorney based in Southern California who has spent his career at the intersection of law, faith, and the First Amendment. He serves as Editor of ReligiousLiberty.TV and as President of Founders’ First Freedom®, the California 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates the publication.

Peabody has represented employees in religious accommodation cases under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, testified before legislative bodies on behalf of workplace religious freedom, and provided legal analysis on landmark Supreme Court decisions involving the Establishment and Free Exercise Clauses. He has been a featured guest on numerous podcasts and programs, offering accessible legal perspective on complex constitutional questions.

Under his editorial leadership, ReligiousLiberty.TV covers religious freedom issues across the political and theological spectrum—from SCOTUS oral arguments to local zoning disputes—with a commitment to clarity, accuracy, and the conviction that liberty of conscience is the foundational human right.
