They met in a Methodist church because they couldn’t meet in an Adventist one. Eight hours, three livestreams, a roster of men whose names Michigan Conference administrators have spent two years keeping out of Adventist pulpits. They named the US Religious Liberty Commission. They named the pope. They named the International Religious Liberty Association’s UN credentials. Some of what they said will not survive scrutiny. Some of it will.
