  1. His comments were very safe. Joe plays it safe and that seems to be the ultimate reason why Obama picked him. However, his comments could easily be taken out of context (“the constitution doesn’t bestow on me any rights that I don’t already have”-paraphrased)just like many of his previous negative comments about Obama. Or were those previous comments really taken out of context?
